Geologic Fieldwork in Meghalaya, India

February 2011: 

Nano Seeber and graduate student Ellie Ferguson of Columbia University/Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, Prof. Humayun Akhter (Dhaka University) and Prof. Ananya Biswas and Prof. Bhabani Prasad Mukhopadhyay of Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur conducted geologic fieldwork in Meghalaya, India. This fieldwork focused on the structure associated with the "Dauki Fault" and the geomorphology and stratigraphy of the Shillong Plateau.
